I love rivers, and these river pictures a awesome. I just came back from a trip to Jackson Hole, Wy. I thought about you when we passed The Snake River Whitewater Rafting place. I wish we had time to venture out while there to perhaps got into one one of those rafting rides so I could at least say, "Hey Matt, I've done it! The whitewater rafting." Unfortunately, our time there was filled with daily seminars from 8am to 5pm, socializing, eating, doing home assignments, and sleeping.

For you, enjoy your R and R trip.

The photo of Merced River in CA. is almost enough to lure me into a raft without the tranquilizer dart. :)

Thanks for a moment of Zen.

Julie--thank you very much, that's kind of you to say. I'm glad you enjoy visiting my blog.

Bobbi Jo--they are spectacular and they do take you there.

Sonya--thanks, I intend to have a great vacation. I appreciate the well wishes.

Tasha--I have that way of getting stuck in other people's heads. Since I talk about rafting and ABBA so much and make no secret that they are passions, I quickly get associated with them should they come up in other ways. But it's always nice to hear that something reminds someone of me. I wish you had a chance to get on the river, but someday....You should make it a point.

Hope--The Merced is beautiful and it is suitable for first time rafters. It's Class III-IV, and just outside Yosemite National Park.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting everyone! It's much appreciated.

Did you take all these pictures, or simply assemble them together? Whichever, they are some beautiful sites.
